We are starting to build new Linux practice exams based on the LPI® curriculum introduced in 2009. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Terms of use Use of this site is subject to the terms of use set forth below. Use of this site constitutes acceptance of these terms. Privacy and openness: - When you register on the site you must use your real identity/name(s). You are not allowed to register under a false identity
- When you register on the site you may choose not to have your e-mail address and real name(s) visible to other users. All prudent technical measures will be used to protect this privacy. However you acknowledge that is some extreme circumstances (e.g. due to software defects or Internet connection eavesdropping) this information may be obtained by third parties
- When you choose a password upon creating an account, it will be stored in an encrypted from, that allows a check for password correctness but does not provide a way to find your original password. If you forget your password, you have to contact site moderators to re-initialize it to a known value and you may not expect to be informed what the password was.
- Any information you enter, apart from your user account settings will be openly available to the public. You ought to exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personal or other information.
- Do not, under any circumstances enter private information (like passwords, credit card numbers etc.) in the form of comments/questions. If anyone asks you to do that, please report it to the site moderators.
- All user operations on the site (e.g. passing exams, creating accounts) are logged for security reasons. All prudent technical measures will be used to keep these logs secure. However total security may not be guaranteed. The logs may be submitted to the authorities upon a proper legal basis.
Copyright and licensing of content: - All users who submit content to the site in the form of exam questions, comments etc. retain the copyright to that content.
- All users who submit content to the site agree to license this content under a GFDL license. This license allows further redistribution and guarantees the freedom of the information in cases of redistribution. Within the meaning of the license the exam content that may be downloaded from the site (XML format, compressed to save download time) constitutes a "Transparent" copy of a Document.
Restrictions on use/content: - This site may not be used by unoperated computer programs, (ro)-bots, automated scripts and the like, simulating human user behavior without a human user involved.
- This site may only be used for the purpose of testing ones skills in different exams, contributing to exams etc. as outlined in the site title page and other guideline documents: 1, 2, 3. It must not be used for any other purpose.
- You may not post content in exam questions that serves a purpose other than being part of exam questions, including but not limited to spam, advertising or offers to sell any products, services or otherwise.
- You may not post content in comments to exam questions that serves a purpose other than commenting on/criticizing/praising/clarifying exam questions, including but not limited to spam, advertising or offers to sell any products, services or otherwise.
- You may only post content of which you are the author/copyright owner.
- You may not post content that is copyrighted by others. For example you may not post exam questions taken from other places on the Internet, books, textbooks etc.
- You may not post content that infringes on other third party legal rights such as privacy, copyrights, trade marks, trade secrets, patents etc.
- The practice of so called "braindumps" (illegal in many jurisdictions) is strictly prohibited. You may not post questions that you know to be exactly like those in real certification exams in the IT industry. If you have passed a certification exam before you should keep the non-disclosure agreement you accepted as a part of the exam.
- Please report suspected infringing content.
- You may not post content that is harmful, vulgar, obscene, abusive, harassing, defamatory, slanderous, threatening, libelous, inciting towards hatred etc.;
- You may not post the same questions/comments to questions multiple times so as to achieve a "flooding effect".
Quality of content: - Content on the site is built and improved by a community of volunteers. No representations are made about the quality of the content or its fitness for a particular purpose.
- Any exam result achieved on this site is not to be interpreted as a guarantee of an exam result of an external exam (e.g. if you pass a certification mock exam here, this does not guarantee that you will pass the real exam).
User etiquette: - You should not openly show disrespect or slander site users for any content they submit (e.g. if it was of low quality).
- If you criticize exam questions via comments you should keep your criticism on the question and not on its author.
- Upon spotting any abuse of these terms of use by another user (e.g. posted content that is of not allowed nature or is plagiarized etc.) you should promptly report this to site moderators giving details of the suspected abuse.
Site moderation and legal responsibility: - Site moderators reserve the right to inspect site content and remove any of it that is deemed, at their sole discretion, to be in breach of the terms of use
- If you breach these terms of use, site moderators may, at their sole discretion sanction you by deleting content you entered, or in extreme cases blocking/deleting your account.
- If requested by authorities, upon a proper legal basis, site moderators may submit to them your account information, site usage logs and other known information you have submitted on the site.
- You are solely responsible for any adverse consequences of the content you submit.
- Site owners/operators will not be liable under any circumstances for damages, including any general, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the site including without limitation use of or reliance on information.
- You agree to indemnify or otherwise hold harmless site owners/operators against any liability claims, that arise from your use of the site or failure to follow applicable law.
